اتفاقية المبدعين
This agreement is between you (“the creator”) and Keyloom (“Keyloom”, “we”). It applies to every item you publish on Keyloom, in addition to the Terms of use.
1. Your work stays yours
You keep the copyright and all other rights in your items. You can keep selling or showing your work elsewhere; this agreement is non-exclusive.
2. What you promise
- You created the item yourself, or you have every right needed to publish it under this agreement.
- It contains no third-party material you are not allowed to redistribute: no stock footage, images, audio, logos, trademarks, characters or brand assets without a license that allows it, and no fonts other than free or Adobe fonts.
- It contains no harmful code or expressions that do anything outside the After Effects project.
- The details you give (title, description, tags, category, Premium or free) are accurate.
If an item breaks these promises and someone makes a claim against Keyloom or its users, you agree to help resolve it and to cover the reasonable costs that result from your breach.
3. The license you give Keyloom
For each item you publish, you give Keyloom a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing license to host, copy, preview, promote and distribute it through the Keyloom website, plugin and API, and to grant users the license described in the Terms of use (use in their own personal and commercial projects, no redistribution of the item itself). We may create previews, thumbnails and technical variants (compression, format conversion) and show your creator name with the item.
4. Review and quality
Every item is reviewed before it goes live. We may approve it, ask for changes or decline it, and we may remove a live item that breaks this agreement, receives a valid rights complaint or stops working. We tell you why.
5. Revenue share
- Each month, 50% of Premium net revenue (what subscribers paid, minus PayPal fees, refunds and chargebacks) forms the creator pool.
- You earn one point each time a Premium subscriber uses one of your Premium items for the first time that month. Uses of free items, your own uses, and uses flagged as suspicious (until reviewed) do not earn points.
- Your share = your points ÷ all creators’ points × the pool. Amounts are rounded down to the cent.
- Founding creators — approved before Premium launched — get 60% instead of 50% for the first 12 months after launch. The extra comes from Keyloom’s share, not from other creators.
- No money is paid for months before Premium launched, but uses are recorded from day one.
6. Payouts
- We close each month in the first days of the next one. Earnings become available 30 days after the close, to cover refunds and chargebacks.
- You can request a payout to your PayPal account when your available balance reaches $50.00. Payouts are in US dollars; PayPal may charge its own fees or convert currency.
- For your safety, payouts pause for 7 days after you change your PayPal email.
- You are responsible for declaring your earnings and paying your own taxes. We may ask for information required by law before paying.
- Earnings from fraud or fake uses are cancelled and may be deducted from later earnings.
7. Removing items and ending the agreement
- You can ask us to unpublish an item at any time; we do it within 7 days. Users who already applied it keep their license for the projects they used it in.
- You can end this agreement by unpublishing all your items. Earnings already earned are still paid as described above.
- We can suspend or end your creator account if you break this agreement, with an explanation. Earnings from genuine uses remain payable unless they come from a breach.
8. Changes to this agreement
If we change this agreement, we email you at least 14 days in advance. You accept the new version before publishing again; items already published continue under the version you accepted until you accept the new one or unpublish them.
